This 4-inch flat panel LED downlight offers a canless, ultra-slim design and provides 700 lumens of warm 2700K white light, using just 10 watts of energy, equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent fixture. It features a low-profile, square LED panel with a flat, flush appearance that clips seamlessly into the ceiling without the need for any housing or can.
Included with the downlight is a separate metal junction box, also known as a J-Box, providing everything required for a complete, easy installation of this ultra-thin, canless recessed lighting solution. Suitable for damp locations, the fixture is ETL listed, Energy Star rated, and backed by a 5-year warranty.
The Junction Box Slim Square LED Downlight is a dimmable, 60-watt equivalent solution with a 2700K color temperature, making it suitable for a variety of residential and commercial applications. The lamp dimensions measure 4.7" W x 4.7" H x 0.8" D, while the junction box dimensions are 4.1" W x 1.3" H x 3.5" D. The recommended hole cutout dimension for installation is 4.25" x 4.25".
Rated for IC (insulation contact) applications, the downlight operates within a 100-130VAC, 50-60Hz voltage range and is ETL listed. With no can or housing required, the fixture installs directly into the ceiling using tension spring clips, with the J-Box conveniently mounted in the ceiling beam. A foam gasket is included to provide a seamless, finished look.
