This 8-inch ultra-thin recessed LED downlight clips right into the existing ceiling with no housing or ceiling can needed. It comes with a metal junction box, providing everything required to install this beautiful, slim canless recessed lighting solution. The light is dimmable and color selectable.
The recessed light is perfect for contractors and professional installers, as they can always have the light readily available, regardless of the required color temperature. It produces 1600 lumens of light output and has a high CRI rating of 80, ensuring accurate rendering of colors in the room.
With 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K options, the 5 CCT color selectable feature allows users to choose their preferred color temperature by easily using the switch on the inside of the j-box. This enables the selection of soft white, warm white, bright white, neutral white, or daylight, ensuring the right light color for the space.
The 8" 5 CCT slim square recessed LED downlight uses just 18 watts of energy, equivalent to a 100W incandescent ceiling light, and features a 120° beam spread. The power supply and junction box are included, with the j-box dimensions of 4" x 2.6" x 1.6". The slim panel dimensions are 8.8"W x 8.8"L x 1"H, with a trim size of 1" and a recommended cutout of 8.25" x 8.25".
The dimmable range is 20 - 100% with a CRI rating of 82. Up to 8 of these 5CCT downlights can be controlled with a 150W max LED dimmer by Maxxima. The fixture is IC rated, 120VAC, ETL, and comes with a 3-year warranty.
No can or housing is needed, as the light installs directly into the ceiling with tension spring clips. The installer simply needs to place the j-box in the ceiling beam and insert the light into the drywall opening. A foam gasket is included for an air-tight application.
